Did you know your daily internet searches can help plant a forest? In 2023, UWE Bristol switched its default search engine to Ecosia to turn the everyday act of searching on campus into a powerful form of climate action.
Ecosia uses 100% of its advertising profit to finance climate action, primarily by planting trees in over 35 countries.
To date, UWE has helped Ecosia to plant over 416,000 trees! Join this session with Fred Henderson, Commercial Growth Manager at Ecosia, to learn how your internet searches are creating a positive impact, for the environment and for communities around the world.
