This is what Christine Miserandino had the challenge of communicating to her best friend when questioned over a catch up in a diner.
From this spoon theory was born has been adopted by many individuals who have a chronic illness.
Frances Bathurst from the EDI Team (a disabled member of staff who was a young carer) will talk you through what spoon theory is, how it changed her perspective of herself how spoon theory empowers disabled individuals.
