Description
Join us as we invite you to de-stress, cuddle a furry companion and learn more about Guide Dogs UK.
This event is free* for all students, however, you must book a time slot to attend. Your booking will give you access to the event for a pre-determined 10-minute slot where you will be able to meet the Guide Dogs and the volunteers.
Timeslots are limited and are available on a first-come, first-served basis:
- 12:00-12:10 (x 10 slots)
- 12:15-12:25 (x 10 slots)
- 12:30-12:40 (x 10 slots)
- 12:45-12:55 (x 10 slots)
- 13:00-13:10 (x 10 slots)
- 13:15-13:25 (x 10 slots)
- 13:30-13:40 (x 10 slots)
- 13:45-13:55 (x 10 slots)
*As part of our Cost of Living support offer, UWE Bristol Library will be making a donation to the charity in order to make this event free for students to attend.
Travel information
Walk
Glenside Campus is a 30 min (approx.) walk from Frenchay Campus, either via Stoke Lane or through Stoke Park Estate. Please note that these routes include steep hills.
Bus
First Bus service 48A stops directly outside the main entrance to Glenside Campus. The 48A runs every 20 mins between Frenchay and Glenside.
Cycle
Glenside is easily accessible from several local cycle routes. There are showers, lockers, bike shelters and free bike tools available on campus.
Drive
Parking is available on campus for permit holders only. Please ensure you have either an annual permit OR a free 'permission to park' permit along with a daily parking token displayed in your windscreen.
