Description
A workshop to help you to make the best use of Lexis+ UK, one of the leading law databases and legal practice resources, essential to legal studies at UWE Bristol. You should have already successfully undertaken Lexis+ Foundation certification before attending the advanced training.
The Legal Research advanced certification tests your ability to confidently complete a high level of legal research on the Lexis+ platform. It also asks you some scenario-based questions to give you a flavour of the type of work you can expect when conducting legal research in practice.
The Lexis +UK trainer will deliver this training. They will introduce and demonstrate Lexis +UK and will be able to respond to questions you may have about this database. This will be followed by an opportunity to certify during the session.
The advanced certificate provides evidence of professional legal searching skills which you can add to your CV.
