Description

In this session, students will work on how to use sources in their own writing. We will be focusing on the type of verbs that are used to incorporate sources. Students will see some examples and they will also practise this writing skill themselves.

Workshop objectives

To feel more confident about:

To be able to identify reporting verbs in written academic texts.
To understand the different functions of reporting verbs.
To be able to use reporting verbs correctly.
