Description
We invite all students to join us for some delicious food from their home country! You are welcome to come alone or with a friend to learn about and sample food from around the world. If you would like to bring anything with you we welcome anything shop bought, or please read below if you are interested in cooking.
This event is brought to you by your VP Community and Welfare, Rahul and VP Societies and Communications, Bethel in partnership with UWE Global.
We want to celebrate all the diverse cultures and background we have here at UWE Bristol, please feel free to come dressed in traditional clothing and let us know any song requests for a playlist that will be played throughout the event.
Come along to unwind during the exam period and have some free food and meet students from other cultures. If you would like to bring a dish, snack, or drink from your country, then email Charis.Mckinna@uwe.ac.uk. For students who do want to bring in food, we have some budget to reimburse you. Or you can just come along on the day and enjoy the food on offer!
If you are bringing a home-cooked dish, you must have completed this online level 2 hygiene certificate, it costs £12 but we can reimburse you if you would like to do it, just let us know if you want to do it.
Please note: the amount of food available will depend on how many students actively participate, this will be put out at 12:15 and is on a first come first serve basis.
