Description
Climate chats and cake is a monthly student-led session in which students get the opportunity to talk about environmental issues in an informal, welcoming space and enjoy some tasty food!
This month we will be joined by Yallah Coffee, who will be leading a session focusing on sustainable business practice. Based in Cornwall, Yallah strives to produce delicious, high-quality coffee, while promoting social, economic and environmental prosperity and creating as little negative environmental impact as possible.
Yallah's coffee is imported by sail-boat, free from plastic packaging and powered by renewable energy. They are committed to sourcing their ingrediants from ethical, fairtrade providers.
Yallah also work within their community to help young people to develop career skills and experience and to prepare them for ther workplace.
Come along to learn more about the challenges and opportunities of sustainable business practice, to share your thoughts and enjoy some delicious food.
And yes, there will be coffee tasting!
