About the event
The Climate Change Primary Education and Research Network brings together over 100 teachers and researchers to discuss and share insights into all things climate and sustainability focussed for the primary school (4-11 year-olds).
The network meets online, six times a year, and is organised and chaired by Dr Verity Jones and Dr Tessa Podpadec, co-leaders of the Sustainability in Education strand in the Education and Childhood Research Group at UWE Bristol.
In this session, we are delighted to present UWE Bristol's Dr Rosamund Portus, Lecturer in Environmental Management, who will talk about her new children's book that invites young readers to think about pollinators and how educators might use this in the classroom.
