About the event

The Climate Change Primary Education and Research Network brings together over 100 teachers and researchers to discuss and share insights into all things climate and sustainability focussed for the primary school (4-11 year-olds).

The network meets online, six times a year, and is organised and chaired by Dr Verity Jones and Dr Tessa Podpadec, co-leaders of the Sustainability in Education strand in the Education and Childhood Research Group at UWE Bristol.

In this session, we welcome Kate Colchin (UWE Bristol) 'Supporting career choices in sustainability from the primary years: insights from a career advisor' and Mark Whittaker, Headteacher (Greatwood Community Primary and Nursery School) 'Insights into supporting sustainability as a primary headteacher'.
