Description
Join us to get to know Bristol city centre with new friends on an informative and interactive walking tour. Join our professional tour guide Luke Sargeant to explore the city, from the famous street art and culture to discovering some of the amazing history of Bristol.
The tour will take approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.
The event is free. You have to pay for your transport and any food or expenses in the city centre.
Please make sure you have downloaded the First Bus app on your phone prior to the event as you will need to purchase your own bus ticket to the city centre. Otherwise, you can pay on the bus with your contactless card.
Meeting point
Meet our Global Buddies and tour guide at the Ka Fei pop up coffee hub (blue shipping container), Colston Avenue, Bristol BS1 4ST at 10:45am.
What to bring
We recommend some optional items you may want to bring with you:
- Bottle of water
- Tissues
- Cash – enough for any other expenditures ie. food
- Coat – you’ll be in an open area, so make sure you have a warm coat with a hood that can keep you warm and dry
- Umbrella
Photos may be taken during Student Orientation and some of the images might be used in the future for marketing and promotional activities. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform us via email: globalstudents@uwe.ac.uk.
