The film is aimed at all those students and practitioners who are involved in the management and repair of acquired property but do not have the opportunity to regularly visit schemes on site. The film includes footage of re-roofing, damp proofing, re-plastering, rendering, sound insulation and fire protection together with improvements such as new kitchens, bathroom fittings and central heating.
The film is not intended as a recipe for good practice but serves to familiarise the viewer with the scale and scope of typical housing rehabilitation works. We do not intend to update his film as most of the work is pertinent today.
