This event has been postponed until further notice.

Description

Come and get hands on with Sashiko, a traditional type of Japanese stitching used to mend, reinforce or decorate textiles and clothing.

To mark Great Big Green Week, we'll be discussing how techniques such as Sashiko can be used to reuse or repurpose old clothing and fabrics, and how this might change our relationship with fibre based materials.

Open to all UWE students, staff and external stakeholders.
