Library of things
Borrow what you need, when you need it
UWE Bristol is proud to host a Share Bristol Library of Things at Frenchay Campus. The Library of Things allows students, staff and the local community to borrow items for home, hobbies, study or practical tasks. You'll save money and help reduce the environmental impact of buying new.

What you can borrow
The Library of Things includes items like:
- DIY and cleaning tools
- kitchen appliances and household equipment
- musical instruments, board games, and hobby supplies
- camping gear and event essentials.
With an annual membership, you can save hundreds of pounds and support a more sustainable way of living by reducing waste and cutting carbon emissions.
Membership and access
- Standard annual membership is £50 or £20 for concessions (including students).
- Members can borrow as often as they like for 12 months.
- Access is included to all Share Bristol locations (Frenchay, Kingswood, and Bedminster).
- You can book Things online and collect from a Library of Things in person.
