ARC guides and forms

ARC is UWE Bristol’s placement management system. The ARC suite consists of ARC POW (for students), ARC PEP and Audit (for placement providers), ARC Timesheets (for placement mentors) and ARC Evaluations and Student Profiles (for social work only).

Students’ access to ARC is granted automatically. UWE Bristol staff who require access to ARC can contact the Student Business Systems team at sds.operations@uwe.ac.uk.

External placement providers request placement profiles and user access using the ARC Request Forms (externals).

All users agree to abide by UWE Bristol’s relevant Information Security Policies and Regulations and must notify UWE Bristol when they no longer require legitimate access to ARC.

For placement providers (excluding social work):

• Request a new placement profile: ARC PEP and Audit: New Placement and Users Request Form 2025/26
• Request new user access to ARC PEP and Audit or make changes to existing users or placements: ARC PEP and Audit: New User or Amend a User/Placement Request Form 2025/26
• Request an audit cluster: ARC New Audit Cluster Form 2025/26

For social work providers only:

• Request a new placement profile or make changes to an existing placement profile: ARC Social Work: New Placement and Users Request Form 2025/26
• Request user access to ARC PEP, ARC Evaluations and Student Profiles or make changes to existing users: ARC Social Work: New User or Amend a User/Placement Request Form 2025/26
