UWE Bristol partners with Cranfield School of Management to offer combination degree option

UWE Bristol has partnered with Cranfield School of Management to offer a pioneering combination degree option to students.
Undergraduate students at UWE Bristol are being given the opportunity to secure a guaranteed place on a postgraduate course at Cranfield. The universities are among the first in the country to introduce such a hybrid study option.
All UWE Bristol students enrolled on business degrees, including those taking top-up courses, can apply for this guaranteed place on any of Cranfield’s one-year, full-time MSc courses (subject to meeting entry requirements).
The innovative partnership has been introduced to provide students with the combination of a strong and practice-oriented undergraduate degree from UWE Bristol with a globally recognised master’s qualification from Cranfield to help accelerate their career in the business world.
Professor Yvonne Beach, Head of the College of Business and Law at UWE Bristol, said: “With a focus on real-world, practice-based learning and globally impactful research, UWE Bristol’s business courses equip students with the practical skills and experience to thrive.
“Our business students now have an even wider range of opportunities open to them when they graduate – they can step directly into employment, explore our alumni discount option to continue with us at postgraduate level, or take advantage of this additional study opportunity at a well-respected partner institution in Cranfield School of Management.
“We are excited to be working in collaboration with Cranfield, a world leader in management education, on this pioneering approach for the sector and offering our students an excellent alternative choice when they are considering their journey through higher education.”
Applicants will benefit from a simplified application and visa process, with dedicated support from Cranfield School of Management throughout, with additional visa flexibility for international students.
In addition, applicants will automatically be considered for a Cranfield Merit Scholarship as part of their application and have the opportunity to benefit from one of three dedicated £10,000 scholarships exclusively for UWE Bristol students.
Professor Lynette Ryals OBE, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the Faculty of Business and Management at Cranfield University, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for any UWE Bristol business students to come to Cranfield and enjoy the benefits of our industry-focused postgraduate education.
“We’re very proud that our master’s courses are recognised as world-class, and we look forward to welcoming UWE Bristol students as they continue their education and set themselves on the path to a successful career.”
