Dr Konstantinos Siliafis joins UWE Bristol as Dean and Head of Bristol Law School

UWE Bristol has appointed Dr Konstantinos (Kos) Siliafis as Dean and Head of Bristol Law School.
Prior to joining UWE Bristol, Kos was Director of Law and Politics at Canterbury Christ Church University. He has previously lectured law at Aberystwyth University, where he gained a Doctorate in Philosophy and Law in 2015. Kos joined UWE Bristol in his new role on Monday 18 September.
His research focuses on relationships between law and technology, particularly within online spaces, space exploration, and with new technologies like AI and cryptocurrency.
Kos said: “I feel very privileged to join a team of accomplished academics and practitioners at UWE Bristol.
“The Law School has a fantastic reputation as a vibrant driving force in the future of our students, the city, and beyond, and it is incredibly exciting to be given the opportunity to help shape its trajectory.”
Professor Yvonne Beach, Pro Vice-Chancellor and Head of the College of Business and Law at UWE Bristol, said:
“I am delighted to welcome Dr Kos Siliafis to UWE Bristol as the new Dean and Head of the Bristol Law School.
