Date that this item was entered on to the web-site: 8th January 2004.     Michael Casson - potter We are sorry to announce the death of Frederick Michael 'Mick' Casson who died on 12th December 2003. Born in 1925, Mick was one of the most important potters of the twentieth century, hugely respected both for his pots and his role as an educationalist. NEVAC conducted a filmed interview with Mick in September 1995. He was also a member of NEVAC's advisory board since its inception in 1992. Mick will be greatly missed by the countless people whose lives he touched.
