You can find more information on how to use your timetable on our Understanding your teaching timetable page.

Problems with your timetable

Error messages

If your timetable is unavailable or you get an error message, make sure your timetable has been published by checking the publication date. Your timetable will be available on MYUWE after the publication date and once you have started registration for your course. If you still have no timetable after three days, use our Timetable self-help form.

Blank timetable

If there is no teaching scheduled in your timetable view, it will look empty. Try changing the week using the arrow buttons. If you still have no timetable, use our Timetable self-help form.

Incorrect timetable

If your timetable is wrong, use our Timetable self-help form.

Export your timetable

You can export your timetable to other apps from your MYUWE timetable. You can export your teaching or exam timetable, or combine them into one feed.

Once you have added the feed to your calendar, it will keep up to date with any changes to your timetable. However, updates depend on how often your app or device refreshes. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are always using an up-to-date timetable.

Adding the feed to your calendar

Outlook

To add your feed into Outlook, follow the Microsoft guidance.

Google Calendar

To add your feed into your Google Calendar, follow the Google guidance.

iPad and iPhone

  1. In MYUWE Timetable, select the 'iCalendar' button.
  2. Under 'Export your timetable', select the button for the feed you want to add to your device.
  3. Select 'subscribe' and your calendar will be added.
  4. Enter a title, for example ‘UWE’.
  5. Select 'Add'.

Resetting timetable feed URL

If you want to change your timetable feed URL (for example, if you think someone has access to your timetable), you can reset it in MYUWE.

  1. In MYUWE Timetable, select 'Export timetable'.
  2. Under 'Reset your timetable feed URL', select the 'Reset timetable feed URL' button.
  3. This will stop your existing feeds from updating and you'll need to update your apps with the new feed.
