Independent artist and first time CFPR laser bureau user, Clare Gerbrands, won a prize at the Painswick wearable art parade with her laser etched skirt design which formed part of her winnig outfit entitled 'Foxy lady'.

Tom Sowden helped Clare convert her intricate illustrator design into a curved hem which was then laser engraved onto a leather skirt. She was really pleased with the potential for laser cuttting and engraving in her work. A number of artists are discovering the potential of laser cutting and engraving to enhance their designs and save them the time invloved in intricate hand cutting.

Clare received her prize from famous local celebrity Keith Allen.
