Research in the Department of Social Sciences
The Department of Social Sciences hosts four research centres and two research groups, with considerable collaboration between these groups and centres generating innovative inter- and trans-disciplinary research with real-world impact building on and influencing our teaching and practice. As well as working with regional partners, our research projects attract national and international funding.
Researchers in the Department also work closely with colleagues in other research centres and institutes in the Faculty of Health and Applied Sciences and in other faculties.
