We are pleased to announce that these ceremonies will be taking place between Monday 18 July and Friday 29 July 2022 at Bristol Cathedral.

Key details about your graduation day

Travelling to your ceremony

All eligible graduates will receive an email inviting them to register for their ceremony in the week commencing 11 April. If you have not received this email by Wednesday 20 April, please contact graduation@uwe.ac.uk.

If you wish to attend, you need to register online and purchase any guest tickets via Ede & Ravenscroft by Wednesday 22 June 2022. Please ensure you ‘checkout’ all items to complete the registration process and secure your place at the Awards Ceremony. If you are awaiting final results or applying for a visa, you must still register by the deadline if you wish to attend. If you are no longer able / eligible to attend the Awards Ceremony, please review our guidance on cancellations and refunds for any items purchased.

If you, or someone in your party, has extenuating circumstances, access requirements, or any concerns about your Graduation day, please contact graduation@uwe.ac.uk as soon as possible. If you do not contact the Graduation office by Wednesday 29 June 2022, we will not be able to consider your request.

November Awards Ceremonies

Ceremonies will take place between Monday 21 and Friday 25 November 2022.

Keep your details up to date

All direct contact about your Awards Ceremony will be sent to your personal email address. Please make sure that your myUWE is updated with your most current personal email address or you can contact us by emailing graduation@uwe.ac.uk to update your contact details.

Key details

Attending an Awards Ceremony is not compulsory

It is important to stress that postponing graduation ceremonies does not impact on the University awarding you your degree, providing you meet the requirements of your course. It is not mandatory for you to attend graduation to complete your degree.

Travel and accommodation

Unfortunately, as per the Award Ceremonies terms and conditions, in the event of cancellation due to a pandemic, the University does not accept liability for any costs/expenses incurred by those due to attend the ceremony.

Visa support letters

We are unable to raise Visa support letters for July and November until registration opens. Any requests made prior to this will be unable to be processed and your details will not be kept on file due to GDPR. You can request your letter once registration opens – please review the Visa support letter information online for more support.

Receiving your degree certificate

We don’t hand out certificates at our ceremonies. These will be sent to the home address on your student record.
