Studio Giggle Scholarship

We are delighted to offer this scholarship to an undergraduate student studying Animation or Filmmaking.

About the scholarship

One scholarship is available for an undergraduate student starting the Animation or Filmmaking course in September 2022. This scholarship is supported by Studio Giggle, a Bristol based creative studio, and is awarded to a student who has exceptional talent in this area.

The successful student will be awarded £2,000 per year for three years, paid in instalments.

Eligibility

You can apply if you meet the following criteria:

  • You must be holding a firm offer to study with us on the following courses to start in the academic year 2022/23:
  • You must have a household income below £42,000 as assessed by Student Finance England, or equivalent in other parts of the UK.

Whilst we welcome applications from all eligible students, applications from the following under-represented groups will be prioritised:

  • mature applicants
  • disabled applicants
  • black, Asian and minority ethnic applicants
  • care leavers, student carers and estranged applicants.

Application process

Applications will be judged by a panel made up of representatives from the School of Creative and Cultural Industries, the Head of Alumni Engagement and Development (or their nominee) and representatives from Studio Giggle. All applications will be anonymised.
