Wayne Lloyd's work is deliberately eclectic, being comprised of drawing, performance, film, objects and animation. He is concerned with the politics of culture, and the excesses explored in his works, notably in his Wayne Winner performances, examine and respond to the socio-cultural milieu. His recent work examines the difference between one's experiences of art and film and its subsequent representation, and how this consequently affects the historical and political climate.

Recent projects include The New Releases at Beacon (2004), The Middle Epics at Medieval Modern, London (2005), and the international performance showcase Wild Gift in London, 2006. His book, Wayne Winner's Arthouse Cinema #1 was published by Immprint in 2004. Recent group shows include The John Moores 22 (2002), The Mostyn Open (2002), and the Real Writers Residency at G39 Cardiff (2007). Contributions to group events in 2007 included the Election Rally at the Serpentine Gallery, London and contributing to Our Comic Book (ed.
