BADGES:
'Found' Badges is a collaborative
project in its fifth year, involving the members of the etc applied
arts group and invited makers. Each have made a badge on the theme
of
the 'found'
object. Some artists
have made their badge from found materials and others have made
a badge on the theme of the found object.
Each maker's badge
has been produced in an edition of 50. Traditionally a badge is 'worn to identify a person or indicate support for a cause'. 'Badges' aims to showcase the distinctive and diverse talents of makers working in the applied arts and to support the cause of applied arts research. All proceeds from the sale of badges will be used to support further etc projects. The badges are available for sale at £15 each or a set of all 16 at £230. Each badge is made by hand and as a result every one is different and therefore the purchased badge may differ from the image on this web-site.
