The enamel, textile and ceramic applied arts group,
is based at the School of Creative Arts at the University of the West of England, Bristol. Centred around the applied arts research room, (OC28), the groups aims are:

  • To encourage applied artists within the faculty to work together in a research environment beyond their normal teaching duties.
  • To generate exhibitions, conferences, seminars and most importantly: a distinct identity for applied artists engaged in practice based research.
  • To create a working environment that establishes a research area pertinent to our diverse practices, where other high calibre practitioners can also be invited to participate in our planned projects.
