Professor Stephen Hoskins was invited by the British Council to undertake a series of lectures in relation to the exhibition ‘As is When’ A boom in British Printmaking 1961 - 1972.

Lecture Abstract:

The traditional discipline of printmaking is undergoing a major reappraisal with the advent of digital technology. A greater spectrum of artists, are now using print as an integral part of their practice. The lecture demonstrates some of those practises and gives case studies of how new technology is expanding the artists’ repertoire of printed output.
