Dr Adrian Geisow
Adrian joined the CFPR in January 2014 to help develop projects in colour and 3D printing, and to help further enhance the Centre's industrial links. He previously directed research into printed electronics and electronic paper displays at Hewlett-Packard Laboratories in Bristol, where his group invented and demonstrated plastic displays, reflective colour displays, and displays that could retain their image without power.

Earlier in his career, Adrian led research and development teams working in areas including electronic publishing, user interfaces, graphics and computer aided design systems.
Adrian currently chairs the UK Plastic Electronics Leadership Group, and is an Advisory Board member for the EPSRC Centre in Large-Area Electronics. He has previously served on a number of advisory boards including Cambridge University’s Integrated Knowledge Centre for Advanced Manufacturing Technologies for Photonics and Electronics, Bristol University’s Centre for Functional Nanomaterials.
Adrian has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Nottingham and PhD in Computational Geometry form the University of East Anglia. He has also studied at INSEAD, is a Chartered Mathematician and a member of the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications.
