Artists were invited from five international art and design institutes to consider the theme of place. As the participating institutes are widely situated around the world, it was anticipated there would be a range of subject and responses based on identity in relation to their place. The resulting prints have ranged from the very personal to a comment on the political situation of their place.

 

The objective for the portfolio was to make an institutional exchange, therefore requiring only five prints per artist: five places - five prints. The size of the works are A3 (42cm x 29.7cm).
