CFPR for Artists, Printmakers & Studios
The Centre maintains dedicated high quality research facilities which are accessible for artists, designers and contemporary makers. Known for its innovative approach to production of artworks, artifacts and texts, the Centre encourages creative practitioners to develop and explore their ideas through the production of works in multiple formats.
Until recently the Centre for Fine Print Research has undertaken a deliberate policy of shared facilities with the School Print Centre. This collaboration enabled the creation of some of the finest printmaking facilities within the UK. Where appropriate the Centre also maintains dedicated high quality research facilities for individual research requirements. The combination of these facilities offer artists a variety of studios including; Laser Cutting, 3D Rapid Prototyping, Collotype, Enamel and Wide Format Print.
The Centre for Fine Print Research has worked collaboratively with some high profile artists, contemporary makers and research students. We are interested in receiving applications for residencies so any artists wishing to work at the centre are welcome to present a project poposal, portfolio and CD of images.
