The Annual Miniature Print Exhibition
The Centre for Fine Print Research has been working with staff and MA Print students from the Department of Art & Design, University of the West of England , to produce an annual show of limited edition prints. The Miniprint exhibition is designed as a print exchange between artists, as well as creating an archive collection for students to refer to. The show is sponsored byJohn Purcell Paper who supply paper stock for the artists.
The exhibition is now hosted by The Arnolfini Bookshop, 16 Narrow Quay, Bristol BS1 4QA. The exhibition usually runs from November and prints from the current year are available to buy at the bargain price of £18 (unframed) directly from the Arnolfini.
The format for the prints is the same every year- with a set paper size (20 x 25 cm), and a maximum image size. The subject and medium for the prints are dictated by the individual artist, and prints are produced in a limited edition of 60. In return for their participation, each artist recieves a full set of 30 prints. 5 of the remaining prints from each edition are archived in the CFPR and UWE collections, and the rest are available to buy.
If you are interested in purchasing any of the prints from the online archive, please check availability first by double clicking on the print you are interested in and making a note of the year, name of artist and title of the print - at the bottom of the image. You can then purchase your selected prints directly through the UWE Online store and we'll arrange delivery.
Payment by cheque is also accepted, please make all cheques payable to 'Bristol UWE' and send your selection and return address to:
