| Matthew Price was inspired by the Thomas Toft plates and commented 'to me they were the most interesting pieces in the whole room. When I actually held them and felt the textured spots on the slip, that to me just sparked something off, and when I turned them upside down I saw a really rough base, and I realised it reminded me of turtle-shell'. |
