Feat of Clay - NEVAC staff have been building relationships with various museums around the country and have helped to organise exhibitions of work made by students and staff, which were inspired by their experience of handling museum exhibits. The most recent exhibition collaboration is outlined below and at the bottom of the page are links to details of previous exhibitions.

'Feat of Clay' exhibition, 18 June - 7 October 2001, V&A Museum, Gallery 138

Feat of Clay was the latest in a series of exhibitions held at the V&A of work made by students, staff and friends from the Ceramics Department at the University of the West of England, Bristol. In December 2000 a group from the University went to the V&A and handled a range of English pots from Thomas Toft's slipwares of the late 17th century to mid 19th century creamwares. Between now and then they have been making work in response to these pots.
