Interview with potter Bridget Drakeford

Bridget Drakeford is a potter renowned for her work in porcelain. Her pots are inspired primarily by the Oriental tradition and include a range of functional forms from teapots and bowls to caddies, vases and cups. Her work often includes decorative detailing in precious metals hand-worked by Bridget.

Bridget was interviewed at her studio in Herefordshire as part of 'Made in the Middle', a touring exhibition organised by Craftspace in partnership with Rugby Art Gallery and Museum. Bridget was the second of three artists to be interviewed for a video which will accompany the exhibition when it launches on the 14th November 2006 at Rugby Art Gallery and Museum.
