Getting involved with heat@uwe
The aim of heat@uwe is to develop, facilitate and communicate interdisciplinary research between ISHE and BIT. The heat@uwe programme includes:
- a series of events to generate research ideas and enable interdisciplinary research
- an expertise directory to allow staff and external organisations to find potential collaborators
- a brokering service to help staff connect with potential collaborators at UWE, identify sources of funding and organise meetings and workshops
- start-up funding, secondments and retreats to support the development of interdisciplinary research ideas.
To join the heat@uwe network you will need to complete a brief questionnaire that will be used to ensure that the programme meets the needs of UWE staff and will feed into the monitoring and evaluation of the project.
There is a different application process for the various heat@uwe and you should check your eligibility when considering whether to apply.
