There are other methods similar to those used in the student print environment
but at present these are not being used, for more information on these
please speak directly to PSS
Pin Release Secure Print
Which essentially allows you to send any document to a compatable device
Click Office button then Print
Change the name of the printer to your desired printer (CL-PSS-MFD01)
Then click on Properties button
Change to ‘Secured Print’
Click OK to this message then set finishing requirements, if any. Click
OK twice.
Enter numeric password of your choice – you must remember this
but make it difficult to guess.
Click OK and the job is sent to the printer.
When you are ready, go to the printer.
If the screen is blank, press the On/Off button
Press ‘System Monitor’ on the display
Press ‘Print’ tab
Next screen shows the document waiting to be printed
Press ‘Secured Print’ button
Enter the numeric password and press OK – the document will print.
Things that can go wrong:
1. There is more than one document to print.
Select the job then click the details button. This will confirm who sent
it for printing and the name of the document – the last is restricted
to the application name, but you should be able to work out which is which.
Select the documents in turn and press the 'Secured Print' button as above.
2. You want to cancel a print as it is no longer required
Press the ‘Cancel’ button and confirm it is OK to cancel –
you don’t need the password to cancel.
3. You have forgotten the password or the one you are entering doesn’t
work
It is either not your print (see 1. above to identify) or the passwords
don’t match, in which case cancel the print as in 2 above and start
again.
Print to Mailbox
To print to Mailbox, click on the drop down arrow next to the print
key – 4 options will appear:-
Print
This is the default setting - all print jobs will be printed immediately. Secured Print
Click on this icon if you do not have a Mailbox set up, but you wish to
print a secure job. When you have clicked on the icon, press the small
icon to the right and input a password, which will allow you to access
and print the job from the photocopier (N.B. This is a one off) Store
This switches to Mailbox and allows you to print to your mailbox number
i.e. if you are number 1, highlight number 1 and click on OK Edit & Preview Mode
This puts the document into a Page Composer which allows you to input
more than 1 document/application which you can then combine as one.

(i.e. word/excel etc.) and print out as one document stapled/double sided
etc.

be combined.
9. Highlight all the documents and press the 'combine' key.
