Lockleaze Sports Centre

Lockleaze Sports Centre provides state-of-the-art sport facilities in Bristol.

Through a partnership with UWE Bristol Sport, Team UWE Bristol Sport teams and those doing MOVE activities can access Lockleaze's multiple grass pitches, floodlit 4G rugby and 4G football pitches as well as an onsite bar and outdoor terrace.

Run as a charity, Lockleaze is committed to delivering affordable first-class sports, education, health improvement and inclusive social facilities to the local community and beyond.

New Hockey Pitch

Lockleaze Sport Centre (LSC) is proud to unveil its brand new state-of-the-art hockey pitch, made possible through a partnership between UWE and the LSC Trust. As a key stakeholder, UWE Bristol recognises the significance of LSC in providing top-notch facilities for pitch-based sports clubs' training and fixtures. Demonstrating its commitment, UWE Bristol has fully funded the transformation of a grass pitch into a high-quality sand-dressed Hockey surface, enhancing the playing experience for athletes. 

The new hockey pitch not only serves as a base for the hockey club but also accommodates other popular sports like Rugby Union, Lacrosse, and football. LSC stands as a great sports facility, equipped with ample social and spectator spaces, offering a vibrant and inclusive environment for athletes, supporters, and the wider community alike.
