- Department for Constitutional Affairs. The Department for Constitutional Affairs' main role is to secure the efficient administration of justice in England and Wales. Activities include appointment of judges and overseeing legal reform.
- The Crown Prosecution Service. The CPS is the Government Department which prosecutes people in England and Wales who have been charged by the police with a criminal offence. The site describes the work of the CPS and lists its publications.
- The Criminal Justice System (CJS). The Criminal Justice System (CJS) in England and Wales comprises the crime related work of criminal justice departments, and the agencies and services they oversee. There is also a gateway to these departments.
