Troubleshooting Your Athens Account.

You should log in to Athens protected sites and journals using your UWE network username and password.

See the Logging onto e-resources FAQ for more information.

Things to try first.

Set your Athens cookie (this will identify you as being a UWE student when logging in to Athens resources) and then try logging in to your problem resource again using your usual UWE username and password.
If you still can't log on to the resource, see if you can log on to MyAthens.
If you can't login to MyAthens, you may need to synchronise your UWE passwords:
- Go to the UWE Password Manager.
  - You will need to fill out your details the first time you use this system.
- Once in, go to the 'Manage My Password' section, login and then enter a new password.
Try logging in to your resource again.
