You may find it more convenient to use the resources and facilities
of another of the University's four campus libraries. Follow the
links to each campus library at www.uwe.ac.uk/library/info.
Items may be borrowed and returned at any campus library, and
they all provide somewhere quiet to study.
-
Support services for those who find it difficult to come to the
Library are detailed at www.uwe.ac.uk/library/info/library_support_services
-
Access to UWE's
library catalogue is always available on-line.
-
Many of the library's electronic resources can be accessed off-campus.
These include databases, journals, market surveys, financial and
company information. See www.uwe.ac.uk/library/info/library_support_services/offcampus.htm.
-
You may be able to work in a local library near where you live.
All libraries are listed in the local phone book. Bristol Central
Library (Link to www.ukattraction.com/west-country/central-library.htm)
has a web site.
-
Part-time and placement students can join the Sconul Access scheme
which allows you to use other University or College libraries. Member
libraries will allow reference use of their resources, plus limited
borrowing rights. You will probably not be able to use their computers.
Full time students may be able to use member libraries for reference
only. See www.access.sconul.ac.uk.
-
During vacations, many university and college libraries allow
reference use by students from other institutions. See www.access.sconul.ac.uk

If you still experience difficulties, your Faculty
