When you're required to work in a group

You may be required to work in a group for:

a single class
a week, to prepare a workshop presentation
several weeks for the completion of a group assignment.

These occasions will usually be instigated by your tutor, and may be part of the assessment of a module.

You may, of course, choose to form a group of your own, eg for revision purposes. These can be of great benefit, so long as you avoid plagiarism - see the information on plagiarism in iSkillZone.
