Launch of UWE Research Repository
UWE is creating greater visibility for its research output through a new open-access system called the UWE Research Repository. The on-line facility has been created by library staff in conjunction with stakeholders throughout the University and aims to bring UWE in line with many other universities worldwide who are making their research findings accessible to a wide audience through a web based system.

Frenchay - Pilot of bookable computers
Some computer workstations on level 3 of Frenchay Library now use a booking system. Currently, you cannot book computers in advance but are given a 2 hour slot on logging in.
This is a pilot and test, and initially only a few will be bookable. These will be clearly marked. There will be instructions on how to use the system by the bookable workstations. For support please contact staff at the ITS Support Centre. Feedback to staff would be appreciated.
