Can I use the Library?
Students and staff.
Full membership is available to students and staff of the University.
Access to other users
Other categories of membership are open to UWE Alumni, retired UWE staff and by subscription. See Who can use the Libraries? or contact the Library for more information.
The Library has turnstiles at its entrance, and during staffed hours these are open access. There are gates available for those for whom turnstile access is unsuitable. During unstaffed periods all staff, students and external borrowers will need their ID card to access the turnstiles. We advise that you have your ID card with you each time you visit the library.
Members of the public will be able to access the library during staffed hours only.
Between 10pm and 7am access to the library entrance area and the library is restricted to holders of valid UWE ID cards only.
