An error box has appeared concerning WFICA16, what can I do?
WFICA16 is the software that runs on your PC and allows it to connect to the Windows 2000 servers. It is basically a terminal program, and does very little other than sending any keypresses and mouse movement/button clicks to the 2000 server, and displaying the screen image sent back from the NT server.
If this error message appears then it means that the PC on your desk has a problem, not the software running on the 2000 server. Please call the IT Support Centre who will log the problem, and try and connect your session back up again. It is usually possible for you to resume your 2000 session from where you were before the error appeared.
If you get several of these error messages it could mean that your PC is breaking down. Please always call the IT Support Centre when you get one of these errors, and if you have been getting them frequently (i.e. more than once a fortnight) please mention this.
