I am trying to log in but it's taking a very long time (in excess of five minutes), what should I do?
Do NOT switch the PC off ! We may be experiencing technical difficulties; make sure you've checked our System Status on the ITS Services Homepage page. Otherwise please contact the IT Support Centre. If you just switch off and try again then this may not help you, and could make matters worse - thick client machines must never be switched off unless they have been shut down properly.
