Why can't I print from Windows based applications (Office, Internet Explorer, etc…) anymore?
Check that there is paper in the printer.
Check that the printer is On Line.
Make sure that the cable going from the printer to the network socket on the wall is plugged in properly, or if the printer is a local printer, make sure that the cable going between the printer and your PC is connected properly.
Go through the start menu as follows: Start -> Settings -> Printers or Start -> Printers
If the only thing showing is Add printer then you need to call the IT Support Centre who will put your printers back again.
If there are printers showing up in the Start menu, click on them to show the print queue. If there are a lot of print jobs waiting for a printer then the job at the top will show status messages from the printer. These may help you to identify the problem. Otherwise, please call the IT Support Centre.
