Step 1
- Connect the end of the network lead into the socket on the laptop
- Connect the other end into the socket on the wall

Step 2a
- Switch on the laptop
- Press Ctrl-Alt-Del
- Read the log on screen message
- Enter your user name and password
- Ensure that you are logging on to CAMPUS if you are logging into the UWE network

- Switch on the laptop

- Enter your user name and password
- Ensure that you are logging on to this computer if you are logging onto your computer
