SITS-ADMIT is the computer system which the University uses to manage the admissions of students to UWE. The SITS-ADMIT database holds information about potential student enquiries and applications and supports and publishes UWE courses data.
In short, SITS-ADMIT supports the whole process of students admissions ranging from Online Course Applications (OCAs), Admissions & Enquiries, Confirmation & Clearing and the UWE Welcome Portal.
SITS-ADMIT is managed by Admissions and International Development (AID). A dedicated developer is in the process of being recruited to manage the web applications.
IT Services’ involvement in SITS-ADMIT has been in the Requirement Specification and Project Management of the implementation phase of the system. IT Services have also been involved in the development of the Welcome Portal and OCA. IT Services continue to be responsible for the support of the SITS-ADMIT database.
