Important - acceptable use of e mail
Please ensure that you are aware of the acceptable use and unacceptable use of the e mail system.

Some points to clarify:
- On bulk mailings to the whole University or significant parts of the mailing lists, No attachments are permitted. Links back to the appropriate document can be used.
- The body text area of the e mail should not contain high resolution graphics or logos or the document that would have been an attachment.
- Advertising via the e mail system is not an acceptable use.
- The recipients must always be placed in the BCC category.
The content should be work specific as outlined in the policy and not of a personal nature. It should be brief and have a small space footprint.
Hopefully, everyone will use their discretion and common sense when using e-mail. You may wish to refer to the recommended Email Etiquette.
