Transport Services and the UWE Travel Plan

Travel Planning

Transport is one of UWE's most significant environmental aspects. An award-winning travel plan has been developed to reduce UWE's environmental impact, to improve access to learning and to provide real alternatives to the car. Recent initiatives include: car share parking at Frenchay, megabus, a travel information point in main reception and cycle events at Glenside. The biggest development in 2007 was the introduction of Ulink, a new bus network. A commitment to sustainable travel is being demonstrated through the new campus development.
