Receiving your UWE Card
Any Frenchay, Glenside, St Matthias, Bower Ashton or Spike Island based student, new or returning, who has not yet received their UWE Card should go to their local Information Point (Meet and Greet at St Matthias) to collect it.
Students not based at a main UWE Campus
If you are taught at a site other than Frenchay, Glenside, St. Matthias, Bower Ashton or Spike Island then alternative arrangements will be made to distribute your new card to you.
Staff
Any staff member who has not yet received a UWE Card to replace the old style card should contact uwecard@uwe.ac.uk or call extension 82866, external number 0117 32 82866.
New staff will be sent a paper form by HR as part of the introduction pack to enable you to apply for a UWE Card.
Students who are also UWE Staff
If you are currently a student and also a UWE staff member who holds just a staff card then there is not a requirement for you to hold a student card however if you would like a student card then please e-mail uwecard@uwe.ac.uk or call 0117 32 82866 or extension 82866 stating you are a staff member who would also like their student card – please provide your full name and your student number. You will be notified by e-mail when your card is ready for collection and from which Information Point you can collect it.Contractors / Visitors
You will need to arrange collection of your replacement card with the UWE security office (1E20).
